Hi – For about the last thirty days I have been raising funds so that I may complete the recording of my latest record “Kingdom of Summer“. I have gotten a lot of support but unfortunately, it looks as though I will fall short. I will have to admit that for a short period of time, I was disappointed. But then, I recalled some words of wisdom that my mother passed on to me years ago. I am sure she received the same advice from her mother and it’s probably been handed down ritualistically for generations.
I do not have the same gift as my mother in that she could deliver a message in just a few words. I need a whole song.
My mother had Yogi Berra-like sense of wisdom (“it isn’t over till it’s over” etc.). My favorite is, Life is short, And it goes by quickly.
